DreamMoto ("DreamMoto", "we", "us", or "our") operates the website dreammoto.az and related services (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you use our motorcycle marketplace and related authentication features, including one-time passcodes (OTP) delivered via WhatsApp and/or SMS.

1. Who we are

DreamMoto is a marketplace that helps users browse, list, and contact sellers of motorcycles and related products in Azerbaijan and other supported markets. Contact for privacy requests: info@dreammoto.az.

2. Information we collect

• Account data: phone number, email address, display name, and profile details you provide.
• Authentication data: OTP verification requests, delivery channel (e.g. WhatsApp), timestamps, and related security logs.
• Installment applications for store listings: name, FIN (personal identification number), ID serial, phone, and related KYC fields you submit to apply for motorcycle financing. DreamMoto generates a PDF and shares it with you and the official store. The motorcycle price is not processed as a DreamMoto payment.
• Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and approximate location derived from IP for security and analytics.
• Communications: messages you send to sellers or to DreamMoto support.

3. WhatsApp and phone verification

When you choose to sign in or register with a phone number, we may send a one-time verification code to that number using WhatsApp Business (Meta Platforms) and/or an SMS provider. We share your phone number and the verification code with Meta (WhatsApp) and our messaging providers solely to deliver the OTP and to prevent abuse. Meta processes such data under its own terms and policies. You must have the right to use the phone number you submit.

4. How we use information

• Provide, secure, and improve the Service (accounts, listings, search, messaging).
• Authenticate users and prevent fraud, spam, and unauthorized access.
• Communicate about your account, listings, and support requests.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
• Analyze aggregated usage to improve product quality (where permitted).

5. Legal bases

Where applicable, we process personal data based on: (a) performance of a contract with you; (b) our legitimate interests in operating a secure marketplace; (c) your consent (for example, optional marketing); and/or (d) legal obligations.

6. Sharing of information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with: service providers (hosting, analytics, payment, email/SMS/WhatsApp delivery, maps), other users when you publish a listing or contact a seller, official stores when you submit an installment application, and authorities when required by law. Processors act under instructions and appropriate safeguards. FIN and identity document numbers from installment applications are not used for advertising analytics.

7. Data retention

We keep account and listing data while your account is active and as needed for legal, security, and dispute-resolution purposes. OTP codes are stored only for a short period (typically minutes) for verification and then deleted or irreversibly hashed. Motorcycle installment applications (including FIN) are retained for up to 24 months for the store and buyer, then deleted unless a longer period is required by law.

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures (encryption in transit, access controls, monitoring) to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; please protect your devices and verification codes.

9. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object or withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, email info@dreammoto.az. You may also close your account through the Service where available.

10. International transfers

Our infrastructure and messaging partners may process data in countries other than yours. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

11. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

12. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date will change, and material updates may be highlighted on the Service. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Policy.
